Floral Fantasy Bow Hair Clip Set $1.80

How do you resist cute little bows?

Forever Cool Cutout Necklace $9.80 > $5

These are so not worth the price. Even for $5, I do think that it is still on the expensive side. They are super cute though. The length is just right but the beads are plastic and not metal. So the paint will probably come off soon. The other parts of the necklace are made of lightweight metal, so they do not feel promising as well. I just really really like the design of this and wish it would be of better quality so that I can wear it for a long time.

Floral Print Skater Skirt $8.80
This is just quite an impulse buy. They are cute but I wouldn't gush over them. The colours do not look as nice as they do in the photo. I wouldn't really recommend them.

Highwaisted Acid Wash Jeans $19.80
I've wanted some acid washed jeans for some time now so I got these (in size 24) but I'm quite sad that these do not fit me as nicely. They are fine everywhere except at the waist which is huge. It sits very high waisted on me as well, like above the belly unlike the model, so maybe that's why? I think I can grab 2 inches or so before it gives the tight look. Also, these jeans are rather thin and lightweight. They claim to have a unique finish that will only get better with age but I'm not so sure that is true after getting a feel of the jeans. You should wait for a sale to get these. They are not worth the price.

Favourite Open Knit Sweater $17.80
These were on sale too. I think I got them for $12 or less. I think this would be nicer if the neck hole were bigger but it is still cute. It can be worn with a tied waist and the sheerness makes it great for cooler weathers. It is huge and comfy so this will be reserved for fall.

Relaxed Linen Blend Sweater $13.80
You know how brandy has this loose sweater that looks so cute and cool even when worn casually? I was trying to find something similar and forever had a sweater that was like that but it ran out of sizes so I opted for this instead. What I had in mind was to be able to tie a knot at the hem. This does the trick and although it doesn't really look like the brandy one, it does have a nice v-neck to give a relaxed look. It can also get a bit itchy too because of the material. I guess I'll still be on the look out for the perfect thin knitted sweater.
Rose Print Crop Top $9.80 > $5
Well, for the sake of adding printed tops to my closet to match my denim shorts, I got this. It's not bad, especially for 5 bucks.

Floral Print Shorts $14.80  > $10
So glad to have gotten these shorts on sale. So many other woven shorts that I got were on sale as well and I was just pissed. They were all still available in my size! Don't you just hate it when that happens? Ugh.

These shorts are really smooth to the touch, soft and comfy! The lace trims are totally cute as well. One more to the collection then!

Beach Vibes Distressed Cutoffs $27.80 > $15
These shorts are super soft and not thick like you'd expect them to be. They are kinda thin cotton denim that I totally didn't expect to get with the price. I'm not sure if I would have preferred thicker denim or not because these do not fit me high waist, but drops below my belly button. With a thinner material, it is not as weird or uncomfortable to walk with the inseam drooping. I guess if I wore them high up, then the shorts would be really short. They look fine either way, just not as sexy (but more practical). My thighs are still too thin for the leg openings so I can't get that same hot look like the model T_T It comes with an extra button in case one drops off since it's a button fly.
Cutout Floral Flare Cami $15.80 > $10
Totally love the rose prints and cutout details. It is still a tad pricey for the material and all though.
Festive Caged Crop Top $8.80 > $5
I already have these in black and white but I bought them when they were at full price. So I added this one just to even it out and make myself happy. Not a valid reason to get it because this is quite hard to match with anything...
Free Spirit Flounce Crop Top $8.80 > $5
Got this in black in a previous purchase and since it was on sale, I got the white one too. These will go super well with high waisted shorts and perfect for the summer.
Flawless Knit Tank $13.80
Yeah, I'm just perfect like that! For those days when you are just too lazy to think of what to wear, grab this shirt and go. The shirt is pretty sheer though, but it is super soft and comfy.

Faux Leather Skater Skirt $15.80
The leather is super soft and smooth so I'm in love! I have no idea how I should keep this in my closet though. It's been folded during the packing process already so I'm guessing I'll have to iron it out on the reverse side to smooth the creases out. It's a little bit loose for me and I say that because it doesn't sit nicely on me like on the model but I guess I can still work something out with it. It's not that badly big. It is a reasonable length as well so tall girls need not worry about the skirt being too short.

Meow Crop Top $8.80 > $5
I think I got this on a whim because it is just average. It's a very silky chiffon but other than that, it's quite a normal kimono.

xoxo

Real vs Fake Adidas Superstar/Stan Smith

I've wanted to do this post for a long time, ever since I started on my crazy collection of Adidas Superstars. I mean, I think I make quite a credible source because at one point, I owned 14 pairs of Superstars and Stan Smiths. I will be migrating my Superstar collection post over to this blog over the coming days so that you can read up on where I got them.

I'm not sure if these shoes are still as popular and wanted now because I am sort of out of the loop but if you are looking to get yourself a pair of Superstars or Stan Smiths, these are a few pointers to look out for in identifying if what you are buying is real or fake. Take note that these features are mostly applicable to recent releases only. Old models and Superstar 80s are slightly different. Then again, old models are not sold in stores anymore so if you find brand new pairs elsewhere, you should be cautious.

I owned a a few pairs of fake Superstars before I purchased my first original pair from the Adidas website. …

diy: hair bows

From the cloth I bought recently at Daiso, and with the major diy mood I was in, I decided to make a bunch of hair bows to wear when school reopens. My tutorial has been inspired and sourced through many inspirations on pinterest.  Start off with a rectangular or square piece of fabric. Squares will result in bows like the blue floral one above while rectangles will be like this bow in the tutorial. Mine measured about 24cm by 12cm. For my blue floral one, i used a 15cm by 15 cm square. Fold your fabric in half, with the insides facing out and straight stitch as highlighted. Leave a gap at the edge because you will be inverting the fabric after you're done sewing. This gap should also be of reasonable size, not to small or you will have trouble inverting the cloth. Once you are done, invert the fabric and  straighten it out. You can sew up the gap at this point if it bothers you. Using a pin or a needle, make some pleats with the fabric and pin through to get the bow shape. Once yo…

ALL ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Swatches on Asian Skin + Review

Recently, I dug into my collection of ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks and swatched all the available shades on their website. I'm missing 5 from the website and over here, I have 31. The rest have been swatched in other collection videos/posts.

Midi (Pale Dusty Pink) Against my skin tone, this is like a pastel pink. The color remains quite close to that of the tube but the formula is slightly thick and it does settle in my lip lines and feel dry. Not exactly a color I would pull off often but I can see it working with a colorful eye look or a smokey eye.

Bianca (Soft Mauve) Love this shade and it remains quite true to the tube but it is so drying and crumbly on the lips. It accentuates my lip lines and it cracks when I smile. One of the worse formulas in this bunch, especially considering that it is a nude and most companies do not mess these sort of colors.

Clueless (Dusty Mauve) This is a really cute shade. It pulls off pinker on me than in the tube and although ColourPop d…
