Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lipstick

I've already reviewed these liquid lipsticks on YouTube but I like to do a readable version as well. There are 18 shades in this collection, even though the numbers run from 1 to 26 so I'm missing 8 shades (13-20). Those shades seem to be from an exclusive collection because they are not on sale on the Jordana website and they are more of primary bold colors like black, white, yellow, orange, blue and red. Regardless, I have the other 18 that you can find on their website and in the drugstore.
These are $4.99 each on the Jordana website and you get 3g of product in the tube, which seems little but that is about the same size as a ColourPop liquid lipstick (3.2g) and a Stila Liquid Lipstick (3ml). So, that means you are paying $1.66 per gram - very cheap and affordable. These are made in the USA with US and non-US components. The expiration date is marked by a 12-month from opening symbol.
The liquid lipsticks are packaged in a short acrylic tube with a black cap - a very simple and basic design, but what makes it look nice is the typography on the tube. I adore the mix of fonts that they used to create the look of their bottles. The doe foot applicator is similar to Wet N Wild's Liquid Catsuits but smaller in size. It has a divid to collect just enough product so that you only need to dip in once and it hugs your lips and spreads the products evenly. The doe foot is the exact same size as my lips so I found it very easy to apply the liquid lipstick without making any mistakes. The tip is great for reaching corners and lining your lips too. The only drawback about the packaging would be that the opening of the tube is rather wide and the strainer is too wide for the doe foot as well so it doesn't really strain a lot of excess product off the wand. You would have to wipe it on the sides of the tube, which I'm not a fan of because I like to keep my tubes clean.
The shades are very wearable colors for all season. You have pinks, reds, berries, nudes and brights. They are named after desserts which I find to be very cute and yummy. They have a very sweet scent to them (exactly like the Kylie liquid lipsticks) and I'm not a fan of it but it is tolerable.

Apart from a handful of streaky shades (mainly the dark ones), most of them have one swipe pigmentation. Otherwise, just go over it with a second layer to fix it.

These dry down to a transfer proof matte. They will remain quite smudge proof too as long as you stay away from oily food. However, they do start to feel a bit powdery and drying on the lips after awhile and I personally am not a fan of when my liquid lipsticks start to feel like that. It feels as if might just flake or crumble off. Thankfully, that didn't happen but my lips did start to feel dry after 3 hours of wear. I wore it for a total of 5 hours without eating and the color stayed on without fading or coming off in any way. I had water from a bottle and it did not transfer. My lip lines were accentuated after that 5 hour wear.

These liquid lipsticks do not come off easily with micellar water so an oil based makeup remover is required. That should also indicate that it is going to be quite long wearing too if you avoid oily food.

My overall score for this is 3.8/5 which is quite high, even though it ranks on one of the lowest on my personal ranking list because of the color range and comfort. 18 colors is wider than what most brands carry but there are quite a few bright, almost neon colors that are not my favorite and some of the nudes are not very flattering. There are nice colors in the collection but I'm just not really feeling it on the whole. Some of these colors dupe more expensive brands so that is something you might like. The powdery dry feeling is also a no no for me. I can take dry liquid lipsticks but there are so many brands that are more comfortable than this.

Overall: 3.875/5
Pigmentation: 4/5 (a handful of streaky colors)
Application: 5/5 (excellent doe foot applicator that makes application easy and fuss free)
Comfort: 2.5/5 (quite drying on the lips)
Longevity: 4/5 (remains transfer proof and withstands water)

Some of the swatch pictures towards the end will be quite bad because it started to rain and it got gloomy so I couldn't get good lighting. If you would like to see how it looks on my entire face, then watch my video :D

01 Creme Brulee
This is a nude-ish pink as you can see from the tube. It dries a tad darker on the lips. It's a pretty color but I don't think it will flatter everyone.

02 Strawberry Cheesecake
This is a bright, almost neon coral. It is slightly streaky and I'm not a fan of this color. It's fun for summer but it looks much brighter on the lips than it does in the tube.

03 Raspberry Tart
Super pigmented fuschia pink. It is quite bright but it's blue based and this color will suit a ton of people.

04 Mixed Berry Souffle
I'm not sure how to describe this but it is clearly a purple, with some hot pink undertones. It's quite a bright color. This went on a tiny bit patchy but it's pretty good considering that this is a purple shade. I quite like this color.

05 Mango Sorbet
This is a true bright orange. I'm not a fan of oranges but if you want a fun summery orange, then you might want to give this a shot.

06 Cherry Cobbler
This is a bright blue based true red shade.

07 Tiramisu
This is the MLBB shade in the collection. It's a nice pink with brown undertones that would suit almost anyone.

08 Sweet Marsala Wine
This is a deep maroon red shade that went on streaky. A second coat should give full opacity. It's definitely a nice berry shade for fall.

09 Rose Macaron
Like the name suggests, this is a mid toned rosy pink.

10 Sugared Plum
Much more muted than Mixed Berry Souffle but still a purple with pink undertones. It leans more on the berry purple side.

11 Red Velvet Cake
This is a slightly darker blue based red than Cherry Cobbler. It is slightly patchy if you don't apply it properly but I prefer this red over the other one.

12 Pomegranate Pie
This is a true neon pink that went on streaky and layering it made it seem thick. Not a fan of the color and how it performed.

21 Molten Chocolate Cake
This is a warm terracotta brown that is slightly patchy. A second layer should be able to fix it. It's weird that this ended up patchy though because it's not extremely dark and it's not neon.

22 Cinnamon Toast
This is a warm dusty pink-brown. It's a beautiful nude shade but it's a tad patchy. You should be able to fix it easily though.

23 Buttercream Frosting
This is a complete nude beige with pink undertones. It looks completely like a concealer. I don't see how this is going to look good on anyone. You can probably use it in the center of your lip for an ombre look though.

24 Strawberry Sundae
This is a bright mid toned pink that dries brighter on the lips than it looks in the tube. It is also slightly streaky.

25 Sugarberry Crumble
This is a berry fuschia pink. It's not a bright like Raspberry Tart so it's more wearable if you like this sort of colors. It's not streaky as well and very pigmented.

26 Currant Jam
This is a deep wine berry. It's not very streaky which is awesome because it's a dark color.

Below is my personal ranking for all the liquid lipsticks that I have tried so far. They are weighed against the price, some pros and cons. Those marked with * indicates that they are not necessarily transfer proof / satin liquid lipsticks (they will naturally be more comfortable).

Real vs Fake Adidas Superstar/Stan Smith

I've wanted to do this post for a long time, ever since I started on my crazy collection of Adidas Superstars. I mean, I think I make quite a credible source because at one point, I owned 14 pairs of Superstars and Stan Smiths. I will be migrating my Superstar collection post over to this blog over the coming days so that you can read up on where I got them. I'm not sure if these shoes are still as popular and wanted now because I am sort of out of the loop but if you are looking to get yourself a pair of Superstars or Stan Smiths, these are a few pointers to look out for in identifying if what you are buying is real or fake. Take note that these features are mostly applicable to recent releases only. Old models and Superstar 80s are slightly different. Then again, old models are not sold in stores anymore so if you find brand new pairs elsewhere, you should be cautious.  I owned a a few pairs of fake Superstars before I purchased my first original pair from the Adidas

Arctic Fox Hair Dye Review on Dark Unbleached Hair

I've been meaning to try Arctic Fox's hair dyes for a couple of years but never got around to it because I feared it wouldn't show up on dark hair. It's been coming up more and more on Instagram again so I did some research and apparently Purple Rain, Aquamarine and Poseidon do show up on dark hair. So that's what I purchased! These retail for $7.99 (4 fl oz) or $13.99 (8 fl oz) on the Arctic Fox website but I got mine off Amazon .  Arctic Fox hair dyes are vegan and cruelty free. They also do not contain harsh chemicals like peroxides, ammonia and PPD. These are semi-permanent and they contain conditioning agents which means you can use these dyes as often as you want to without damaging your hair. Semi-permanent hair dyes only coat your hair so it will fade with each wash. The bottle claims that it can last up to 40 washes. These smell like grape candy so it is such a treat to use them. The instructions to use this is pretty simple. 1. Shampoo and w

Lime Crime Wet Cherry Lip Gloss Swatches & Review on Asian Skin (NC20)

Lime Crime came out with their new line of sheer lip glosses recently. I've done a swatch and review video on YouTube but I haven't done a write-up with close up swatch pictures for anyone who wants reference. There are 14 shades in total at the moment and they retail for $18. You get 2.96ml of product in each tube, which honestly is quite little. These lip glosses come in a chubby clear acrylic tube with a pink cap. The tube itself is quite big but don't let it fool you, because 2.96ml/0.1oz of product isn't as much as it looks. The applicator is a really big doe foot which is great for full lips but for me, it's just way too big and the applicator tends to pick up too much product for one application. The lip gloss has a delicious cherry candy scent to it which I love though! These go on sheer because they are meant to be sheer lip glosses. They give a nice tinted look but some colors tend to look streaky up close because of this. They do sink into your l
