What To Do In Singapore: Rainforest Lumina

Rainforest Lumina is a the Singapore Zoo's newest night-time experience that is open for a limited time only. Admissions start at 7:30pm but entry is dependent on the time slot you purchased. I got my tickets from Hapz for $19.80 but if you are going during an off-peak period, I would recommend just purchasing directly from the Lumina website for $20 because you won't need to queue to pick up your tickets at the counter.
Also, do note that you won't be seeing any animals during this walk. I have no idea where the zoo keeps their animals each night for this event but they are not around.
Once you enter, you are greeted by the Rainforest Lumina arch that marks the beginning of your adventure. The lighting is really pretty and ethereal but it is honestly really really dark. We found it immensely difficult to take good pictures because of the low lighting conditions.
While it is usually hot and humid during the day time, I found the walk to be rather cooling and breezy at th…

What To Do In Singapore: Vintage Camera Museum

As Singaporeans, we love to complain that there is nowhere to go and nothing to see in Singapore. So, while searching what to do and finding deals on Fave, I stumbled upon the Vintage Camera Museum. I did a bit of quick research and found that the building itself is camera shaped and it housed a bunch of vintage cameras. The bf and I were super bored and craving to go out, so that's where we headed to.

Admission to the museum is $8 for a weekday entry and $10 for a weekend entry on the Fave app. If you don't have an account yet, you can sign up and use my code HYFWQ at checkout for $2 off.

The museum is located about 10 mins walk away from Jalan Besar station or 15 mins away from Bugis station. If you have a bus to Stamford Primary School, that would drop you off right across the museum.

We walked from Jalan Besar MRT and the route was safe, scenic and pleasant.

The museum itself is hard to miss because it is a very wh…

What To Buy From Charlotte Russe's Sale Section

With one and a half more months of summer to go, I decided to hit up Charlotte Russe's sale section to see what they have. I found a ton of good deals and cute clothing, especially when it comes to shoes. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw heels for less than $5 (OMG). I really like some of their skirts and jumpsuits as well so I compiled a whole list of my must-haves from their sale section. Lots of sizes are still available as I'm writing this but you might want to act fast!

Cold Shoulder Jumpsuit ($15.99)
I love this kind of cold shoulder necklines with flutter details. I just think it is super feminine and more dressed up. This is a very neutral color that would suit any occasion. It's so easy to wear and fuss-free.

Striped Belted Jumpsuit ($18.99)
Stripe jumpsuits are an essential in any closet if you are into jumpsuits. They make you look taller and slimmer. This is a simple, non-complicated design with a belt to cinch your waist so that everything looks mor…
